The Challenges

To provide three HTM-03-01 compliant air handling units manufactured, delivered and commissioned within a five week timescale.

The units were required to service a purpose built two storey modular building which comprised of twin theatres, scrubs, anaesthetics, recovery, consulting and waiting areas with the first floor dedicated to the buildings plantroom .

Two units supplied the operating theatres & the remaining unit served the recovery & area necessitating ErP and HTM 03-01 compliance.

The Solutions

Our flexible workforce and premises allowed all the units to be built simultaneously by employing adaptive shifts.

A modular build construction allowed individual sections to be easily transported via two articulated lorries and assembled on site. A specially constructed reinforced scaffold platform was secured to allow the individual sections to be crane lifted and air skated into position.

All on-site installation and leakage testing was undertaken by Mansfield Pollard’s experienced site team and completed a day ahead of schedule.

Fully htm 03-01 & eco- Design directive 2009/125/ec Compliant.

5 week delivery from drawing approval.

Leak tested on-site to L2 as per bs en 1886.

100% on-time & on budget.
