ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE HITS BRADFORD

Bradford Means Business award winner, Mansfield Pollard, has taken part in the viral phenomenon that is the Ice Bucket Challenge to raise even more funds for MND.

Managing Director Joanna Robinson has joined millions of celebrities, business owners and people across the world and bravely had a huge bucket of ice cold water tipped over her head to help promote the progressive disease.

Mansfield Pollard employees gathered in the car park on Friday to support their leading lady and find out who Joanna would be nominating to go next!

Joanna said; “The Ice Bucket Challenge has been an incredible success and I am delighted that we have been a part of it. Our generous staff have donated around £350 which takes the UK figure closer to £50M which is simply brilliant!

“Getting freezing water poured all over me was certainly an interesting way to finish a working week and I can`t wait to see my fellow nominees take part. Steve Clay, Paul Dresser and Christian Grant you have 48 hours!”

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a progressive disease that attacks the motor neurones, or nerves, in the brain and spinal cord.

There is no cure but the MND Association funds and promotes research that leads to new understanding and treatments, and brings them closer to a cure for MND.
