Making Every Voice Heard: Our Annual Survey

As we approach the start of a new financial year, we have released our annual employee engagement survey to all members of staff across the business. The anonymous survey will form the basis of our yearly business planning, ensuring that every voice is accounted for when making important decisions for the coming year.

Our business IS our people and as an employee focused employer, we strive to create a positive, supportive and fun environment for all of our teams to ensure a happy work/life balance. The employee survey is just one of the ways that we engage with our teams, helping the business to improve and to do what we do better, across all areas of the business.

The feedback and data gathered is collated through our survey partner, to ensure complete anonymity. From there, the information will be used to drive improvements and used as a foundation to create our strategic business plans for the coming financial year. This can be anything from flexibility in working hours, software and equipment needs to ideas on benefits and internal support. As we continue to build a people first culture, our goal is simply to “become the employer of choice at a local, regional area and national level.”

Kerry Lunn, our HR Manager and spearhead of the engagement survey commented,

It’s important to us that we get as many people involved in the survey as possible after all the more data we have, the more representative of MP it is and the more we can celebrate the successes and work on the areas that require improvement.”

Asking for feedback isn’t just about celebrating the good stuff though, it’s also about being accountable to our employees and acknowledging areas that might need improving. Not only is the employee survey a good opportunity to tap our greatest resource (our people) but it also allows us to create real and tangible change across multiple areas of the business.

Following our last survey, we have enacted a number of policy changes and updates including flexible working, better facilities, updated equipment and our recently refurbished on-site gym. So, keep your eyes peeled for the exciting changes this latest survey will produce over the coming year!
