Volunteering has never felt more necessary…

Bradford Foodbank donation

We are proud of everybody who has volunteered their time or donated food as part of our Bradford Central Foodbank initiative. With the current cost-of-living crisis, thousands more people are expected to turn to food banks for help this winter and without donations, Foodbanks couldn’t survive and wouldn’t be able to support those who need it the most this Christmas.

Last week our volunteers helped;

  • support over 97 families and 250 people each day,
  • create Christmas hampers for struggling families,
  • organise donations and hand out food parcels,
  • make hot food and drinks for those in need,

We would also like to thank the MP Board for the opportunity to spend this time helping others via the ‘Charity Days’ program, which enables employees to volunteer their time, with no loss of pay, to any charity close to their heart.

A small act of kindness can make a huge difference. To find out more please visit https://bradfordcentral.foodbank.org.uk/
