HTM 03-01 Air Handling Units CPD
The HTM 03-01 Air Handling Units CPD focuses on providing a clear understanding of specialised ventilation for healthcare buildings. Incorporating the key updates from the June 2021 HTM 03-01 Addendum the latest CPD portioned into three areas:
Interpretation & Understanding:
To separate and interpret guidance from actual legislation in order to assess the need for compliance and the challenges this entails.
Design Considerations:
To develop a full and comprehensive design understanding of the guidance given in HTM 03-01 relating to AHU design and its associated component sections.
Innovations HTM 03-01 and the Law:
Explanation of current AHU innovations which may benefit healthcare AHU’s and the potential consequences of failing to follow the guidance.

Eco-Design Directive CPD
This Eco-Design Directive CPD is designed to provide a clear understanding of both the ErP Eco-design directive and British Standards BS-EN1886-2007. Recognising the focus the industry places on ErP, the CPD questions and assesses the importance of each standard on the performance of air handling units.
The CPD explores issues around cost, build quality and the associated impact on energy efficiency and carbon footprint of air handling units including their thermal performance and air leakage.
