The Project

After the existing belt driven SISW centrifugal fans had exceeded life cycle at NHS Royal Hallamshire Hospital, our AHU refurbishment team were contacted to develop and upgrade their system to meet the hospitals new extract air volume and redundancy requirements.

The Solutions

Due to the ACCESS RESTRICTIONS into the plant room, our team designed and manufactured a FLAT PACK solution, with a separated frame and individualised panels, to connect with the pre-existing ductwork.

To ensure the solution achieved the hospitals increased extract air volume requirement, the existing centriugal fan was upgraded to a highly energy efficient EC plug FAN WALL. This design featured BUILT IN REDUNDANCY to ensure the required extract air volume was maintained in case of fan failure, and also maximised energy efficiency and reduced future maintenance requirements.

The Highlights
